Rusken Packaging Now SFI Certified
We are thrilled to announce that Rusken Packaging is now SFI certified! Congratulations to our Quality Team for their tremendous efforts. They have remained committed over the past year with laser focus on improving our commitment to sustainability for our customers.
As a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable forest management, the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) will allow Rusken to address the growing demand for forest products from responsible sources. Demonstrating our commitment to sustainability, the SFI Chain of Custody Standard is an accounting system that tracks forest fiber content through production and manufacturing to the end-product. In regard to this great achievement for Rusken, Kenny Bateman, our Corporate Director of Quality, had this to say:
“This is a very special achievement for Rusken! Not only is it our first company-wide certification, but it was our first company-wide certification for sustainability, which really shows the vision our Senior Management Team has for our organization.”
