Meet RCDP Trainee: Tanner Rusk
We are pleased to introduce Rusken Career Development Program (RCDP) trainee, Tanner Rusk!
After graduating from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), class of 2020, with a degree in Industrial Distribution, Tanner joined the Rusken Team as a summer intern to gain experience while gearing up to return to UAB to pursue a master’s in finance. Hooked by the paper industry’s fast paced, diverse nature, Tanner couldn’t pass up applying to be a part of the RCDP. Juggling his full-time career development trainee position and college courses, Tanner successfully graduated UAB with his master’s degree in 2022.
As part of the RCDP, Tanner will rotate through each Rusken department learning various functions, while taking on projects and contributing to the organization’s goals. Currently in the Design Department, Tanner is on his second rotation after finishing Logistics. As someone who does not think artistically, the Design Department has been challenging, however, the more he works the CAD table the better visionary he becomes.
Born and raised in Cullman, Alabama, when Tanner isn’t busy with the RCDP he enjoys hunting and traveling.
