Jim Baker Appointed Regional General Manager
Rusken Packaging is excited to announce the promotion of Jim Baker. Beginning his career with Rusken in 2004 as Cullman’s Corporate Sales Manager, Jim currently serves as General Manager (GM) of our Jackson, TN facility. As of 2023, Jim will be beginning his new role for the organization as Regional General Manager of our Jackson and Clarksville, TN locations.
“Jim is a proven leader. He has shown growth and success at every level of our organization, and I look forward to seeing his leadership drive that same success in his newest role.” says Randy Whiteaker, COO, regarding Jim’s new promotion.
Since his elevation to GM of Jackson, TN in 2019, Jim’s purposeful efforts of developing a solid, focused team has helped to build the Jackson business tremendously. As a seasoned corrugated professional with 33 years of experience, 19 with Rusken, Jim is hopeful that his proven successful track record and leadership skills are what it will take to bring Clarksville to the next level. With the addition of new team-oriented management and new equipment on the horizon, Jim has high hopes for the future of our Clarksville facility.
“In 2023, you can expect to see a Clarksville Team that is proud and excited about our future.” says Jim regarding what to expect from Clarksville in the coming new year.
Not only does Jim intend to work on building up a strong team internally within the Clarksville facility, but he plans to use his new role to improve the synergy amongst the Jackson and Clarksville, TN facilities. Increasing the collaboration between the two facilities will help us better serve our customers, enabling us to grow the revenue for each location. Aligning with Rusken’s customer centric workplace culture, offering solutions to his customers’ service challenges is what makes Jim so passionate about coming to work every day.
Jim is married with two children, and in his free time, you will find him outdoors, enjoying a round of golf, hunting or traveling.
