Rusken Expands Footprint: Hazleton, PA

Rusken Packaging (“Rusken”) is pleased to announce that we are in the process of opening a new 440,000 square foot facility in Hazleton, PA. Our team has been working tirelessly to ready the new Northeast facility and are expecting to be able to start running boxes in early May 2023. Regarding the new addition, David Ortiz, VP of Operations, had this to say:
“The Rusken Packaging footprint continues to expand and we now have the ability to support both new, and existing customers, with great quality packaging in the Northeast part of the US.”

Not only is our new Hazleton facility home to CSC’s state-of-the-art BHS 110-inch corrugator, it is also equipped with a 4-color, 66-inch Ward rotary die cutter, Straub double-sided tape applicator, and specialty folder gluer. Upon completion this summer we expect to have added a 75 x 175-inch Ward and 50-inch FFG.

Rusken’s growth in the Northeast will be led by Rusken’s Wayne Speicher as Hazleton’s Plant Manager. This new addition is part of a strategic focus to expand Rusken’s footprint throughout the United States, further growing our existing capabilities and customer base in the Hazleton, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia markets.
