Jackson, MS

We are currently looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Jackson, MS team. This position is responsible for building relationships and working with customers, sales team, production, and shipping.

• Receive phone/email orders from clients and sales staff in your assigned area.
• Configure and calculate price quotes for items based on supplied data.
• Input orders into AMTECH inventory/order system.
• Adjust existing orders as needed: quantity, size/shape, unit design, etc.
• Verify order layouts and designs prior to releasing orders.
• Follow order throughout production and shipping process to ensure compliance.
• Conduct customer follow-up to ensure timely delivery, quality assurance and potential future orders.
• Communicate with outside sales personnel to obtain feedback.
• Assist accounting with invoice resolution concerning consignment orders.
• Monitor and have ready orders to ensure adequate supply for customers.
• Float in the department as needed to fill in during absences.
• Maintain professional dialog in all communication.
• Keeps up with certain customer inventories.
• Handles house accounts and internet quotes.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Candidates with at least an associate degree or two-years relative experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Experience with AMTECH software is a plus.
• Able to work individually, and as part of a team.
• Strong conflict resolution skills.
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Be focused, able to multitask and prioritize well.
• Must have a positive attitude, cheerful demeanor, and outgoing personality.

• Pay is commensurate with experience.
